Forward/Reverse
Divide into groups of 3-5 people. Each group
gets one minute to create a short one minute skit.
While they perform it for everyone else, the leader
calls out "Reverse." The actors then say their
lines and do their actions in reverse order as best
as possible. The leader continues to call out
"Forward" or "Reverse," changing the direction of
action. Stop the skit and let another group perform
while it's still funny.
I'm Going On A
Picnic
Play: Leader Sam starts by saying, "I'm going on
a picnic and I'm bringing sandwiches." Each person
in turn responds with an appropriate picnic item.
"I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing -----."
Leader confirms by saying "Yes, you can bring
-----" or "No, you can't bring that" or something
similar.
The Trick: The first letter of the item they bring
must match the first letter of their first name. So
Sam can also bring sardines or salad.
Bonnie can bring a blanket or bug
spray.
Notes: This is one of the easier trick
games to figure out, so be sure to remind players
not to tell the secret. Don't give hints. Kids love
figuring this stuff out on their own and feel
especially smart when they do.
